Simple answers to common questions.
Everything you need to know before starting your first Morphix project.
Is Morphix free?
Yes. All features currently available in Morphix Version 1.0 are free during early access. Free AI features are subject to fair-use, daily and monthly service limits.
Do I need coding knowledge?
No. The main image workflow is designed for anyone. The website-code step is optional and is mainly useful when you are updating an existing website.
Which image formats can I use?
Morphix currently accepts JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP and SVG files. Output optimisation is available for WebP, JPG and PNG.
How many images can I process at once?
Version 1.0 supports up to 50 images per project. You can upload and process them together in one workflow.
Do I have to use AI naming?
No. AI filename generation is completely optional. You can edit filenames manually, keep your existing filenames, and continue with image optimisation without using AI.
What happens if I reach the free AI limit?
AI filename generation may be temporarily unavailable when your daily allowance or Morphix's overall free AI allowance is reached. You can still continue by manually editing or keeping your filenames and using the image optimisation workflow.
Does Morphix enlarge small images?
No. If an image is already smaller than your selected maximum width, Morphix keeps its original dimensions instead of enlarging it.
Can Morphix update existing website code?
Yes, for supported patterns. Version 1.0 can help with common HTML image references and selected PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and gallery structures. Always review generated code before replacing live website files.
What is the mapping CSV?
It is a simple report showing which original filename became which new filename, together with old and new paths. It is useful when updating a website or keeping project records.
Are my images uploaded to Morphix servers?
Routine image conversion, resizing, compression and ZIP preparation are designed to happen in your browser. When you choose AI naming, Morphix sends the project description, keyword and original filenames needed for filename generation to the configured AI service. The actual image files are not currently sent to the AI service for naming.
Does Morphix store my images or website files?
No. Morphix Version 1.0 is designed to process image optimisation and website-code updates in your browser. Uploaded images, optimised files, pasted website code and generated ZIP files are not stored by Morphix. If you choose AI filename generation, only the project information, keyword and original filenames required for naming are sent to the configured AI service. Anonymous usage information may be stored for security, fair-use limits and abuse prevention.
Why does Morphix use an anonymous browser or IP-based limit?
Morphix uses anonymous usage protection to prevent automated abuse and keep the free AI service available fairly. These limits are used for rate limiting and service protection, not for advertising profiles.
Does Morphix guarantee better SEO rankings?
No. Morphix helps you create cleaner filenames and better-optimised image assets, but no tool can guarantee search rankings, traffic or conversions.
Why is Morphix still called Version 1.0?
Version 1.0 is the focused launch release. It contains the core image workflow while more advanced audit, metadata and agency features remain on the roadmap.
